Postural-antalgic exercises are important for the prevention and treatment of uncomfortable pain which can affect the different parts of muscular-skeletal system (lower limbs,upper limbs, spine) in adult individuals generated by different causes:
· Incorrect and prolonged positions at work;
· Sedentariness;
· Muscular stiffness;
· Sudden efforts wich involve the back;
· Different types of traumatic events.
Medical prescriptions for postural-antalgic exercises are more and more frequent, specially thanks to the good results obtained for the treatment of lumbalgia.
These exercises involve the whole body with the objective to totally reduce or eliminate the painful symptoms. It is based on streching the muscles of the upper limbs, lower limbs and the back, strengthening dorso-lumbar and abdominal muscles and teaches how to find the correct posture
